Currently we are seeking new and gently used books for our Jump at Reading! Program
Our goal in implementing a reading program at Neighborhood HealthSource clinics is to enhance long-term literacy and health in our community. The simple act of reading with a child introduces him or her to a world of joy and discovery. We are seeking 1300 new books to give to children age 6 months to 5 years at their well-child visits. Putting books in the hands of families who need them presents an ideal opportunity for our health care providers to speak about the importance of reading with children.
